Poem #2

 

Sa Akong Pinalanggan Hinigugma 

 

Ikaw sa ako nagpamatood,

Na ang kalipay dili lisud.

Ikaw sa ako nagpakita,
Na ang kalibutan puno'g kasadya.


Di ko kabalo unsaon pagpasalamat,

Sa tanan nimung nabuhat.

Niininng akong kasingkasing,

Murag buwak imung gipasalinsing.


Sa tanan nimu pagsuporta,

Ako mas nahibong sa imuha.

Sa tanan nimu pagpasensiya,

Ako sa imu mas nahigugma.


Oh akong pinalanggang hinigugma,

Unta mas mag malipayon pa kita.

Karon og sa mga umaabot nga tuig,

Kita mas malig-on sa gugma'g pagsalig.

Poem #1

To My Beloved

As the cold night slowly augment,
And so is the reverie I spent.
I am in merriment, I am in gaiety,
But the poignant within is somehow in sway.

Nevertheless I couldn't feel disgruntled,
Reaching zenith was always of bold.
Go for triumph, go for feat.
In this rendezvous one day we meet.

Oh my beloved, oh my sweetest love,
Be blessed and favored by God above.
Time is swift, time is fast.
This is only temporary and thus won't last!
